Sliding Scale Fees as Low as $30

For those who don’t have insurance or are underinsured and have high out-of-pocket payments, Macoupin County Public Health offers a sliding discount fee schedule to help you access care without the high cost. Get Help with Health Insurance Coverage

Interested in getting health insurance coverage? One simple way is to review plans and enroll in health insurance through the Get Covered Illinois Marketplace, the official health insurance exchange for Illinois residents. Open enrollment typically runs from November 1 through January 15 each year. During this time, you can compare plans, see if you qualify for financial assistance, and enroll in coverage for the coming year.

If you experience certain life changes—such as losing other coverage, moving, getting married, or having a baby—you may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP). In most cases, you’ll have 60 days from the qualifying event to enroll in a plan. Documentation may be required to confirm eligibility.
